I love when a woman surprises her man especially when the man doesn't think she had it in her, “did I?” And she remembered? That had to mean something. He noticed coleslaw, corn bread, and a cold beer on the table. “Cat, this is really thoughtful. I didn’t know you cooked.” Hank is good man and tries to help his woman out whenever he can, “I loved unpacking your lingerie . Show me what you’re wearing today.” He nuzzled the spot beneath her ear and she felt the corners of his mouth curl in anticipation of her reply." I enjoyed this book, Hank was a good man.

Phenomenal

Worth The Trouble was a phenomenal book. If I were able to give the book a gazillion star rating, I would!
Jamie Beck's writing is exceptional and her character development is tops. Even the most minor character is brought to life and plays a vital role in the book.
Worth The Trouble has many layers and numerous plot lines which keep the reader interested from start to finish. While reading, my heart was broken, my heart sang and my tears flowed. Catalina and Hank set off fireworks and share many heated, yet tender moments. They were made for each other and I was ecstatic they were able to make their relationship work, finally! I liked the fact Hank was the hard working blue-collar guy to Catalina the successful top notch model. To say opposites attract here is an understatement, but it works for the two of them!
I highly recommend this book as well as book one, Worth The Wait, in the St James series. Both books are exceptional reads, ones which will delight readers and possibly be re-read several times!

A fun second chance to get it right romance

Cat’s life has had some big changes recently, ones that may change her chosen path. At 28, Cat is coming to the conclusion of her modeling career. Sure, she’s still a beauty and could manage quite well for a few more years – but it’s not her passion, it was a way to get her father’s approval. And she no longer needs that. Her former boyfriend who she chose over a chance with Hank has turned out to be an abusive scumbag, one that she has no regrets in leaving behind – along with a restraining order. But perhaps the most difficult and challenging change is a more personal one, a medical discovery that will affect all of her plans for her future.

Hank is juggling more than he can handle. His mother’s illness which had him becoming the main care giver for her and his younger sister. Between Hank and another sister who is a nurse with a family of her own they ten to their mother. Hank makes beautiful furniture, a side hobby and enjoyment although his main career is carpentry/construction work. During his friend’s (and Cat’s brother) wedding ceremony he once again encounters the beautiful Cat, maybe a bit more tipsy than she should be. She blew him off once and he really doesn’t need the drama but the attraction is still there as he comes to Cat’s rescue.

When Cat discovered the beautiful piece of furniture that Hank had made as a wedding gift – ideas started whirling in her head. She had the money, he had the talent – a business together could be profitable, enjoyable and… either the greatest or worst idea she’s ever come up with.

I enjoyed Worth The Trouble very much. It blends romance, a second chance kind of romance with the reality of life – and it does it well. I don’t know anyone who has a picture perfect life and these characters certainly don’t either. Hank has his family to take care of and Cat has fears about her own future but together, with some understanding on both parts they could make a good, happy life together. It simply has to be a decision made, a risk to take and that happy ending could be theirs.

If you love your romance with a healthy dose of reality for the characters tossed in then you would certainly enjoy Worth The Trouble. It is the second in the series, and does mention previous characters but not enough that you’d get lost along the way. I do hesitate to say it could be read as a stand alone, but if anything it would most likely get you fired up to go find the first book in the series. (Worth the Wait is the first story in the St. James series)

"....I can do anything, anything at all!"

This is a wonderful rhyming book that falls back time and time again on the refrain, "...I can do anything, anything at all!" and is much more than a beginning reading book. It is thrilling to a child (and to an adult for that matter) that with something as simple as string they can do so many different things, even while sick in bed (part of the theme of the story). My next-to-youngest child of four children begged me to read this book aloud over and over long after his beginning reading days were over. I think it struck a chord with him in regard to his natural mechanical abilities, and he started around then taking things apart and fixing them. Now at 25 he can fix just about anything. Our copy is falling apart, but I plan to keep on gluing it, taping it, or whatever is required to be able to keep on reading it, including to my grandchildren who are now under my homeschool tutelage and my great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, should I be blessed with so many years.

Awesome experience

My husband used to have this book as a child and wanted a copy as a memory!! He was so excited when he opened his gift on Christmas that he sat there and read the whole book to the family!! Thank you for having this book available for me to purchase!! It is now on display at his office because this book brings back special memories of his childhood.

Great format, should have covered twice as many animals and birds.

We chose this book as a single volume to take with us on a month long trip to Costa Rica. The drawings were accurate and helped us identify a lot of wildlife, however we often saw birds and mammals that were not listed in the book. It covered the most common wildlife from mammals to insects and would be a great guide for a short trip to Costa Rica. However, if you are planning an extended stay or planning on spending a lot of time looking for wildlife, I would suggest investing in individual books for different wildlife types: mammals, birds and reptiles, insects and butterflies, and even one for plants. We wished we had the extra information at our fingertips despite the extra weight and bulk. The overall format was great, we just wished for a more comprehensive guide.

Excellent selection

Had most of the birds and animals that we encountered on our trip and lots of useful information. True, many other animals were not included in this guide, but this was not supposed to be a comprehensive guide anyway. They also make different versions including one specifically for birds, mammals and plants. We also encountered a tour guide who said he knew the author and the author apparently lives in Costa Rica and gives amazing talks. That just made this book all the more respectable in my eyes!

A must-to-have when traveling in Costa Rica

When I bought it I couldn't imagine we will use it a lot. You spot so many different animals there we used this book every day in order to figure out what animal we saw. The illustrations are very good and the explanations about the animals not too much "scientific".
We loved this book!

TAKING A STAND

Cute little kindle book about how and why we make choices. Noah has experienced bullying at school because he is different. His classmate Penny calls him stupid because he is a vegan. Noah's mom carefully guides the discussion to show Noah that we all make the choices that are appropriate for us, and that those choices are not good or bad by themselves. Each of us has something valuable to contribute to society. Noah learns how to give and get respect.

This kindle version could be improved if it were reformatted because many of the pictures did not appear within the story.

There's no mistaking Sivan's commitment to enhancing children's self-esteem in this eBook, but I think many
children will not embrace the obvious 'moral of the story' as presented here. Many experts warn against 'preaching' a truth to children, and stress the importance of most subtly educating them in desirable traits.

I find it difficult to know what age group it's targeting . The child in the illustrations appears a first-grader, but
his voiced opinions sound much older - 'harmful stuff people use in those big farms' and 'what those chemicals can do inside her body.' And the mother's words would seem to belong to a conversation with a much older child.

Like another reviewer, I found problems too with the formatting - illustrations on one page and a paragraph or two on the next.

Also concerned about lack of information about the Free Children E-books Club at the site where the link
leads. The principle is wonderful, but anyone considering it surely needs more assurance.

Its funny. When I read the title of the book ...

Its funny. When I read the title of the book I smiled.

I've had the incredible opportunity to spend time with the author and actually (on more than one occasion) see a movie with him in a theater, therefore experience Theater 7 in REAL LIFE. And all I have to say is that the book is almost as good as the real thing.

Theater 7 articulates a guide book, a system or a method, if you will, to live your life to its fullest and to be able to squeeze the essence from it. With lots of kabbalistic-based numerology, this book, like his music, will blow your mind.

The book had less pages than I had envisage and looked simple but that was exactly it - this is a straight to the point, highly influential book which cuts out the bs and takes you exactly where you've always wanted to be - Theater 7!!

There are many self improvement books out there but this is a great one to have, intelligent and something you can always pick up when necessary to guide you if you feel off path.

Highly recommended!!!!

I'd like to thank my friend John for recommending this book to me as a MUST READ and with great reason. I was hooked by the author Seven's metaphor and how we as individuals have control of our own destiny. This book provides a foundation of knowledge to achieve success and happiness in the most positive way there is. It also offers insight to those unsure about how to take the first step towards achieving their goals along with other creative concepts to help guide you. This is a book I will be recommending to friends and family. No matter what your age or history there is something in this book for YOU!
