What if bad guys ruled the world and the good guys were the outlaws?
I’m Chaos, patch member of Outlaw MC of Mars. We fight against the government’s warped rules under the guise of hover bike enthusiasts. Gays are put to death. Women are used for breeding. Dark-skinned men are considered slaves. I told you our world is messed up and the battle is going to be bloody. I’m currently on my way to Earth for a six-month prison sentence. Level six is for sex, a twisted buffet of ass and mouth. Level five is for the fights. That’s where I shine.
Beau is a sexy Hispanic man that’s too goofy to play with the big boys. He was loaned to me for some quick, naked fun. But it turned into something else. I don’t do relationships because of my past. My father was a serial killer. But it seems that now, I have a boyfriend. It’s complicated.
Beau is released from prison before me. Can I survive three months without his calming touch? Will he survive on Mars amid my dangerous and violent club without me?

This ain'tchur Grandma's prison caper
By Spifette
It’s the year 3001 (no, really!), and Earth and Mars have performed a home world switcheroo of sorts. Earth = mining and prison, Mars = home, unless you’re anything other than a white, powerful male, and then you’re just a commodity or illegal. Right away, my not at all inner geek was perking up.
Enter Colin Taylor, aka Chaos.
If you’re squeamish about language, I just gave you fair warning. These guys are all roughnecks of one flavor or another. As someone who doesn’t shy away from and, in fact, enjoys the vulgar speak, even I flinched a couple of times. But this is Chaos and how he thinks and what he says, along with every other prisoner, “guard”, and fellow MC member.
Just as blunt as the language is the writing style itself, and it mostly works for this story. There’s depth here, too. Vulnerability and uncertainty thrum beneath the bravado and brute strength. It’s not buried under denial, but instead it’s just as much a part of this upside down existence in which these people have found themselves living. There’s more going on here than what’s visible on the surface, in every sense.
This story mostly takes place in one of those combo mining-prisons. It’s funny, looking at some of the details, I wouldn’t see this as a read for which I would normally reach. This is where those layers come in. At the half way point, I was curious, and not too much had been given away. I kinda couldn’t stop reading.
And Beau, he intrigued me most of all. He had the same effect on Chaos.
There are incorrect words used in some spots, as well as missing or additional punctuation and other errors. My guess is most of this is due to having read an advanced copy, but there were enough to cause pause.
Lest I have you thinking this is a snooty snoot-fest with an attitude of elbow patches and spectacles run amok, fear not. Fighting and shagging, that’s what we have here. Both are described in energetic detail, always in motion. The guys doing the F&S are interesting, their personalities taking shape as time moves forward.
This is fluff and sex disguised as tough guy bikers and criminals and fighting. The one exception is the widespread suppression that is a part of the current Mars culture. However, not much time is spent on this. The sexy times are actually sweet twixt Chaos and Beau, while stark and brutal during the prison scenes. This is future-fantasy with grit and love and hope… and erections. ;)
Have fun with this one, I did. I plan on reading the next one. :)

CHAOS!!!!!!!!!!
By cgwin
Not gonna lie. I’m not a huge M/M reader, but this looked interesting enough for me to take a shot at it. Not bad, not bad at all…
Set in the future, Chaos is sentenced to serve time on Earth for a crime that…well, isn’t really a crime now (drinking), but in the future is. The only catch is that Earth is only used for mining in the future while everyone else lives on Mars.
There are these levels in prison, each one serving a different purpose. When in prison, you do 1 of 3 things, mine, fight or be used to “service” (I’d use a four letter word starting with F, but the censors wouldn’t like it). Being the badass that Chaos is, he’s obviously a fighter.
He finds himself attracted to one of the other inmates and his way of thinking/feeling is altered because of it. Beau makes Chaos a better man and he’s determined to make sure that Beau is taken care of when he gets out.
This was a super quick and easy read. Lots of curse words, which didn’t bother me one bit, but may bother others. I thought it was raw, to the point and “served” it’s purpose. I’m looking forward to the next one.

Awesome start to a new series
By tragedyann08
An awesome book to start a new COX series. One thing that the COX is really good at (well he's good at A LOT of things) but my point here is, he's really good at world building. Especially for a novella length story. Just enough and not too much. It's not over complicated, it's told in a way that easy to follow and there is a ton of information in a few words. I love it.
Chaos is a bad ass sexy beast and Beau is pretty much adorable. I loved how Chaos wasn't overly impressed with him at first glance and then Beau smiled and that was it. Considering the setting and the struggle to survive, Chaos is actually one romantic Outlaw Biker. I was sold with Beau's dimples too.
I hope these two make appearances in the upcoming books.
