About the Author
Louis L'Amour was born Louis Dearborn LaMoore in Jamestown, North Dakota, in 1908. He published his first work at the age of eighteen and went on to write scores of adventure and Western stories, becoming one of the most popular writers of all time. He died in 1988 at his home in Los Angeles.

Always enjoy reading Louis L'Amour

We have many books and stories written by Louis L'Amour,many of them on tape or CD. We greatly enjoy his style and imagery. I have yet to read or hear one of his stories I do not like. Am looking forward to reading and/or listening to all his work.

Unreadable

The first story of the trio was short and sweet. The last story was as expected for Louis L'Amor. The second story ? , made no sense,at least in my downloaded version. Page after page was repeated,out of order,and just plain weird. Just pick up storyline and it becomes out of order and repeats earlier chapter. Not happy.

L'Amour is my favorite author. There is no other western writer that compares to him. His passing was a great loss to the literary world.
